Summary
I worked at Lingrove, a natural fiber composites startup, as part of my 2019 Kessler Fellows Summer. Lingrove builds "wood without trees," with a vision of transforming the built environment with carbon-negative composites in building interiors, auto interiors and consumer products. My role included formulating correct specifications for layups, fabricating test layups and prototypes, documenting manufacturing procedures, reaching out to potential clients and suppliers, as well as assessing the ecological impacts of their flagship product.
